Pollinator Cover Crop Seed Mix

Pollinator Cover Crop Seed Mix

Our Pollinator Cover Crop Seed Mix features a varied mix of easy-to-grow legumes. This mix will grow over 48" tall if left untrimmed. This is an excellent choice for groundcover and covercrops, as well as lawn replacement, or adding to a wildflower meadow. When planting cover crops, we recommend planting in early to mid-fall, and letting it grow until frost. Come spring, mow before it goes to seed, and then till the soil to add organic matter. Wait 3-6 weeks before planting new crops. Hairy Vetch, one of the varieties in this mix, is not recommended as pasture for grazing animals.
